I first used this pump at the hospital after which I rented this pump often while nursing my first baby. Finally, I purchased this breast pump system which is ideal for long-term use and now I am actually looking forward to pump milk for my next baby using this system.
This breast pump system is naturally latex free, BPA-free and includes two PersonalFit breast shields which aide in giving you an ultimate breastfeeding experience. A unique feature I found in this system is its variable speed setting which combined with the variable vacuum setting gives me the best and most comfortable breastfeeding experience. I also found this pump system portable, convenient to carry and this was true for my travels and work-place where all I had to do was take out only a few minutes for breast pumping. The Medela Lactina Double Breast Pump along with its system kit is probably the most useful and easy-to-use pumping system out there-no wonder this is what hospitals and rental staff worldwide favor most. As a working mother, I have always opted for electric breast pumps because of their quietness, ease of use and efficiency. This system however, is unique in the fact that it can be manually operated as well as electrically, depending on your own preference. Furthermore, the system kit offers a wide range of products and accessories that assist your breastfeeding experience making it less of a hassle and more of an enjoyable time. The kit includes two breast shields that fit almost every breast size, two yellow valves, two membranes, piston, pump connector, two tubing, two collection container and two lids.
After using a couple of other breast pumps, I realized a couple of features that make Medela Lactina Double Breast Pump system kit unique. The built in vacuum release actually protects against too much suction instead, using an automatic suck and release technology for better comfort.
