Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump
Product Description
The Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is a uniquely designed breast pump made especially for those times when you are away from your baby. The manual breast pump allows you to pump maximum milk flow using its Natural Expression Pumping facility. This pumping facility actually mimics the pumping pattern of a baby while nursing, making it highly convenient and safe to use. The pump copies the sucking action of the baby by switching between two different modes, the Let-Down Mode and the Expression Mode which mimic the baby's let-down and deep sucking actions respectively. These distinct rhythms make it unmatched to any other manual breast pump available on the shelves.
The Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump has an Ergonomic swivel handle to provide extra comfort while pumping milk. It comes with Massaging SoftFit Breastshield which eases pumping significantly. The breastshield is made of soft silicon to provide maximum ease and comfort during pumping. It helps to massage the breast while pumping, allowing more milk to flow out. The manual breast pump set includes different parts which include the following:
- Breast pump
- SoftFit Breastshield
- 2 collection, storage and feeding bottles of 5 oz each
- 2 solid yellow bottle lids
The Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump also includes 1 bottle stand and comes with an instruction booklet and a breastfeeding information guide by Medela.
You can buy the complete set for Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump online at Trusted Breast Pumps. The breast pump is easy to clean and assemble back again for using it the next time.

Best choice for breastfeeding mothers!

Although every breastfeeding mother’s experience with breast pumps is different and one breast pump may work for someone but not for someone else, but as far as my experience goes, Medela Harmony Manual Breast pump is small, easy to use and efficient. Obviously your breastpump purchase depends on how often you choose or need to breastfeed with working mothers choosing electric breast pumps and home makers choosing manual pump. Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump, on the other hand has proved useful for both daily use and occasional use, at least for me.
When I first used it, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the ease and comfort offered by the pump; it does not pull on the nipple to achieve a let-down and does not hurt at all. This pump comes with all the supplies you need to pump milk and store it hygienically. Medela Harmony Breast pump is cheaper than electric breast pumps while its economy does not hinder it in getting the job done smoothly. The two-pattern pumping system is amazing and helped me to relieve engorgement, especially in the first few days. Possibly the feature I found most attractive in this breast pump was its convenience and portability; there is no hassle of electrical cords, switches, batteries etc. to get this thing going. Being a working mother, I chose a manual pump because of the portability; I can stuff this pump in my purse and take it practically anywhere, a feature I found useful while travelling as well. So if you are looking for a manual breast pump, Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is probably the best choice for breastfeeding mothers!
Rrecommended choice for all mothers

Since I am a stay-at-home mother, initially I wasn’t bothered much about the type of breast pump I would like to use. Staying at home, I figured I have the time to work with any type; however, since then I have learned that different breast pump types work well with different breastfeeding mothers’ bodies. Still, I didn’t want an electric breast pump because of its costly price and because of the fact that stay-at-home mothers don’t require electric ones. One of my friends advised me to buy Medela Harmony Manual Breast pump keeping my priorities in mind. Needless to say that I have not only been completely satisfied, I also have not felt the need to buy or even look for any other breast pump. My major problem with breastfeeding has been engorgement leading to sore nipples. Thankfully the Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump helped to solve my problem even if it was a bit gradually.
The pump is really easy to use and assemble; it comes with all the supplies so you don’t even have to buy anything extra with it! Once I got a little used to the functioning, I was able to pump six to seven ounces in around 20 minutes. I also tried out something suggested to me by my friend; you can actually pump milk and nurse your baby at the same time which of course, saves you a lot of time. The pumping action is fast and efficient making this pump a strongly recommended choice for all mothers who need to pump milk occasionally!
