I had always thought that manual pumps are more of a hassle than the electric pumps, but the Avent ISIS Manual On the Go is very comfortable and easy to use manual pump, which has proven me wrong. This manual pump has worked great ever since I started using it, three months ago. I never considered trying a different one or even renting a hospital grade pump since this one was doing so good. This pump expresses milk very quickly; I can empty both my breasts in no more than 10 minutes and it’s easy to use one-handed. The massage petals work great by mimicking the natural suckling of your baby and I have complete control over the pump while expressing. I stay at home so I don’t need to express much milk but I still keep back-up milk for when I am not around or something and this small, handy, compact breast pump has been my great “little helper”. It’s also very portable; I can easily carry it when I am travelling or just out for awhile. Plus the bag is a relief as well since it helps to transport the pump and bottles discreetly. Avent ISIS Manual On the Go is quiet and pretty comfortable so if you don’t need to pump milk too often, you must consider this one!

I have used a couple of manual breast pumps and I’m definitely going to vouch for this one, it has a few striking features that made my breastfeeding experience nothing short of a relief and comfort. First of all it’s small, handy and really easy to handle; there are no unnecessary equipment that you have to deal with like with electric pumps, it includes just the pump and the bottle. Being small, it is also remarkably easy to take apart and clean, it doesn’t take me more than five or ten minutes to do that. The massage cushion is one of the best features that stimulate a natural milk flow by gently massaging your breasts. After the milk flow has been established it doesn’t take long for your bottle to be full, for me; I can be done in 20 minutes or so. The vacuum control helps to speed things up, and what’s more, these all are in your control so you can manage how you express milk. The tote bag that comes with it is pretty cute and useful, it makes transporting the pump and a couple of other things very easy and discreet. I actually enjoy taking my pump with me to breastfeed during a trip or just a long drive.
