I absolutely love this breast pump! I have been using if for almost two years now, first with my baby son and now for my new-born daughter. The pump is very simple to understand, there’s not much to it really: the striking feature is the pump’s memory. You only need to give a couple of minutes to set the controls and then the pump will remember them for the future. Vacuum, suction and rhythm of the pump are completely in your control to provide the best comfort. The Avent Isis iQ Uno is compatible with all other Avent and standard size bottles so storing the expressed milk is pretty convenient. It can be used as a manual pump but I have never tried that, I prefer the electric option since its more effective, quick and very gentle on full and sometimes painful breasts. Producing enough milk for nursing two kids and bottle feeding them can be quite a challenge but if you use the right pump, it is achievable. The Avent Isis iQ Uno because of its speed and comfort has helped me to breastfeed my kids longer by storing and maintaining a healthy milk supply!

I read reviews about Avent Isis iQ Uno Electric Breast Pump being slower than others; however, I found just the opposite to be true. For me, it has remained a successfull breast pump on most part and I have had a good time expressing back-up milk for my baby for when I am away. To start, you only have to press the pump switch or pump yourself for a little while and then the pump picks up itself; I have actually learnt to pump faster than ever this way. It’s really quiet, quieter than many other electric pumps and it’s fairly small. It does come with other parts that can convert it to manual or battery run. Because of its simplicity, it is very easy to assemble, take apart and then wash. Cleaning is usually a hassle but not for this one! I am also very happy with the service offered by the manufacturers; I ordered a model and received it the very next day! The massage cushion can result in a faster let-down, the milk does not enter the tubing and all the controls are variable and completely under your control. You just have to choose your comfort level with each and the pump will continue using the controls for the present and future as well. I definitely recommend this to all pregnant and breastfeeding women for a better experience!
