Ameda One-Hand Manual Breast Pump has all the qualities that a manual breast pump should have in order to deliver efficient performance and in addition to that, this one is also economical and affordable. After experimenting with a couple of other breast pumps I finally felt satisfied with this one. Being a manual pump it does its job perfectly for mothers who are available for most nursing sessions and need to pump milk only occasionally. The pump is overall pretty compact and lightweight and that’s a big pro when you don’t have the time or expertise to deal with a complicated machine.
All bottles with standard-size opening will fit this pump so you don’t have to buy special bottles. You can easily control the speed and power of pump so that you are comfortable at all times during pumping. All the parts are dishwasher safe so you don’t have to worry about extensive cleaning methods either, at most you can hand clean them with soapy water. I tried using both breasts by pumping at one and nursing the baby at the other; this takes some getting used to but can be great at saving time. Ameda One-Hand Manual Breast Pump is definitely a highly recommended option if you will be using a pump only occasionally and have a manual pump in mind.
Do consider this one if you are looking for a good-quality manual breast pump.

I would suggest this pump for mothers who don’t work and who need to pump milk only occasionally, for this purpose it’s a great pump. My pump came pre-assembled and pre-sterilized in a package. I have large breasts so I was worried about how it would work for me; however this no longer remained a concern when I tried it out. It was comfortable and efficient; the pump has a great suction that helps me achieve a let-down faster. Ameda One-Hand is also really simple and easy to use so it barely takes me half an hour to assemble the entire thing and pump both of my breasts. Having such a light-weight pump is very handy when you know you might be leaving the baby for some time. Even if I express milk outside of the house, the pump is small, compact and discreet so I put it in my bag and express milk out of the house as well. The pump is not all that hard to clean especially if you dish-wash all the parts, although I would suggest sterilizing the parts in boiling water. The price of Ameda One-Hand is also reasonable which makes it a favorable pump as compared to many others. Do consider this one if you are looking for a good-quality manual breast pump.
